Product Description
One of the all-time favorite light truck tires just got better. The new KO design (Key on Off-road) incorporates numerous features to enhance all-terrain traction and control while delivering a quiet on-road ride and exceptionally long wear. An aggressive high-void All-Terrain tread design features interlocking elements that stabilize the tread's center and increase control during braking and acceleration while minimizing highway noise. A 3-ply polyester casing with TriGard construction gives exceptional bruise resistance under the tread and in the sidewall and improves handling and maneuverability. Its distinctive styling includes raised white letters on one side and black outlined serrated branding on the other.

This is the second set i've owned. In my opinion, they're the best AT tires on the market. Ride quiet, increase mileage, long treadwear life and great traction.

This is my second set of this tire, my first set lasted me 75K miles, so I am hoping this set will last just as long if not longer. For the size the tire is not as noisy as other tires in this class. It works great in snow, dirt and mud roads and handles well on the highway.

I would start by saying I buy mostly Michelin tires for my vehicles and this is the first BFG tires I have ever bought or had on a vehicle. I needed to replace my OEM tires on my Dodge 3500 4x4 SRW,LB,CC,6.7, the truck came with a highway tire, load E 265/70/17. The tires looked too small for the truck, hear this from a lot of guys. I needed something a little more agressive for the snow and on dirt, I am not an off roader for sport, like this is a big truck. But I get on some dirt or gravel roads once in a while or onto a beach, and I tow a Travel Trailer. The OEM tires were rated M+S but were not good in the snow or in any loose gravel or dirt.I upsized to a 285/70/17 with the BFG TA KO E, Michelin doesn't make a TA in this size in an E rated tire. My tire guy and a couple of truck guys told me about the TA/KO, they loved this tire.My truck is heavy and these tires are doing a great job so far. Snow, very good, in fact they are rated for extreme snow service. When not loaded I run the tires at 60psi on the front and 50psi on the back. This set up gives me a very smooth ride and the truck handles well, no floating or wondering in my lane. I don't have any more road noise than I had with my highway tires.I have less than 2k miles on the tires but I am really liking the set up on my truck. My speedo is a little off now with the change in size so I am not sure about my MPG changes, it doesn't seem like it changed at all. And the truck looks better with bigger tires. I used my stock rims for these tires. The tire looks very agressive without having to go too big and fills the wheel well better. I have not towed my TT with this tire set up yet, May is our next scheduled trip.
